Requiem To Cancer 2018 took place on 14th-15th September 2018 at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden.
Between us we raised £37,250!
The Requiems covered were those of Rutter, Grayston Ives and Verdi. There was also a run-through of the Fauré, just for a bit of light relief. We were delighted that Will Todd agreed to write the life-affirming anthem entitled All Will Be Well. It was more than amazing that, even after more than 20 hours, there was an enormous amount of energy and stamina to produce a fantastic performance of the Verdi.
The conductors were Neil Ferris, Jeremy Jackman and Bob Porter. They were accompanied by Michael Higgins, Ben Lewis-Smith and Max Barley. The soloists were Ed Goble, Emily Wenman, Andrew Henley, Ed Danon, Laura Wolk-Lewanowic and Beth Moxon. We were also delighted to welcome percussionist Tristan Fry.
